This handmade pecan live edge table is a true reflection of craftsmanship, natural beauty, and attention to detail. Built entirely by hand in our woodshop in San Marcos, Texas, each piece goes through a complete artisan process — from raw slab to finished furniture.

We start by carefully selecting premium-grade pecan hardwood, locally sourced and chosen for its unique grain, natural patterns, and structural integrity. Every slab is air-dried and kiln-dried to the proper moisture level to ensure long-term stability and prevent cracking or warping.

Once cured, the slab is cleaned, planed, sanded, and hand-shaped to preserve the organic live edge and highlight the natural contours of the wood. Depending on the design, the surface may incorporate epoxy resin inlays to stabilize voids or enhance the contrast in the grain.

After shaping and sanding through multiple grits for an ultra-smooth feel, the tabletop is finished using high-quality oils or resin finishes that protect and bring out the deep, rich tones of the pecan wood.

The base of the table is handcrafted in-house in the same workshop — made from solid steel, cut, welded, and coated for durability and style. We design each set of legs to perfectly balance the tabletop, both visually and structurally.
